Welcome! It is our desire to share the love of God and help
people grow in their relationship with Christ. Opportunities to
serve at Durham Evangelical Church exist to encourage, equip, and
empower servants and servant-leaders so that God is glorified and
people are blessed. Christ exemplified service to others and what
better model to follow? Every person has been gifted with purpose
and we have made it our goal to provide an opportunity for every
regular attendee and member of Durham Evangelical Church to serve in
at least one of the many ministries that operate through our church.

DUPLEX/FARMHOUSE WORK DAY
SATURDAY, AUGUST 16, 2008
9AM – Whenever
Come to the first work day for
finishing the duplex and projects on the farmhouse.
Work includes sheetrock, storm
door and shed door installation, tearing off stone veneer,
installing vinyl siding, soffett, painting, mowing and more.
Come for fellowship, sharing
and learning.
Bring extension ladders, hand
tools, work gloves.

SERVING THROUGH SHUTTLING
DEC is seeking those who are looking
for a unique way to serve the body and our guests. We are
currently revamping our shuttle services in preparation for
events and worship services. If you would be interested in
serving on a rotating basis to help us help those coming to
DEC, we would look forward to speaking with you. For more
information on serving and estimated time commitment, please
